We've Really Left

Been pissing with rain for 3 days straight. Been dying to get our of here. Packing seems to be never ending. In the end we decide to leave more than a few jobs undone, after all, someone else is going to have the keys to the house! And we're running out of time to make it to Broome in time for Terry's 60th Birthday!

Crammed the van with everything that didnt fit in a box - including all the drinks left over from the wedding, as well as three thick shelves of alcohol from the bar, and made a hasty departure. Left at 5:15pm. We didn’t really get out at 5:15pm as we had to drop off the many items left at our house of the last few weeks. We started by dropping off Keys & Cable to Sharon. Dropped off cooler bag to Jenny & Angus. Dropped of Long Island Iced Tea Glass to Leanne & Dieter. Then dropped off thank-you pressie to Erica for taking the most fabulous pics of our wedding! Thanks Erica! Then the wheels fell off the wagon when we arrived to dropped off a plate to Janine & Wayne. They offered us a drink and that was the end of it. 6 hours later we crawled back into the van to get some sleep. Time well spent; actually we came away with a map of NZ, slideshow of their pics, and full of great ideas of what to do and see when we get there! Thanks Janine & Wayne for assisting us in our drinking around Australia tour! Thanks also for allowing us to spend the first night away from Mandurah in the remote outback blocks of Bruce Street Manning! We really enjoyed the adventure!
